A new master 18-holes golf course was inaugurated in Cihelny near Karlovy Vary in May 2001. Famous architect Gary Player carried out the project of this course. This significant personality of world golf and golf design based his study on " so called " Scottish style of golf course, that also means on technical style with total PAR 70. Next this area includes 18-holes Honey course for public, PAR 44, Putting green and covered Driving Range, which together with practice bunkers compose one of the largest practice areas in Europe. We were included in calendar of prestige golf tours, for example Manager Golf Tour, Eurotel Golf Tour, Paegas Golf Tour, Generali Golf Tour and so on. A lot of individual tournaments took also place in Cihelny under sponsoring of significant companies such are: Penthouse, Glenfiddish, Volvo, Jan Becher, Coca-Cola, Contactel, Hewlett Packard, and many others. Golf area Cihelny changed its proprietor at beginning of year 2002. New owner became company ASTORIA Invest, Co. Ltd. The main goal of a new owner for present and future season is guarantee of the highest quality of golf course and building facilities necessary for complex services.

The are is situated in beautiful nature of West Bohemia and was located by it’s maker into charming valley of small river Teplá and into protected area of Slavkovský wood.
