Restaurant Alcron is situated at the Art Deco hotel Radisson Blu which was built in 1932. After the Velvet revolution in 1989 the whole building was in a very poor condition and a complete reconstruction was needed. The extensive reconstruction of the restaurant was running in 2000 under supervision of famous designer Maria Vafiadis and the last reconstruction was finished in 2008. Since then the restaurant keeps its look until today, featuring the large fireplace that origins in 1932. Restaurant is offering you 24 seats in one intimate dining room. Walls are decorated by graphics from Tamara de Lempicka. The Alcron restaurant offers Prague guests a delectable seafood menu by premier chef Roman Paulus. The Alcron restaurant was in years 2012, 2013 and 2014 awarded Michelin Star, is regularly placed in Top 10 chart of the best restaurants which is completed by Czech guide for gourmet Maurer’s Choice Grand Restaurant whereas in the year 2009 The Alcron was placed on 1st place of this chart. Likewise The Alcron is enlisted in the prestigious guide Michelin and in the German Der Feinschmecker. Since the year 2003 until end of 2006 the Alcron restaurant was the holder of an award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences in New York “the Five Star Diamond.” This restaurant offers Prague visitors a truly exclusive dining experience.
