Since 1375, when the restaurant was open, kings and their quacks were visiting here, coming via the underground labyrinths of Prague. Stories say that even the king Charles the IV came here for his favorite pint of beer, same as later on Jaroslav Hasek or samous writer Karel Capek. Already on turn of 18^th/19^th century the pub owner Mr. Krugler was entertaining their guests with swinging or telling the boastful stories. The pub is located in a very picturesque city center part of Prague, in the area under the Prague Castle. Many myths and legends are related to this pub.
