The hotel Hvězda is located in a quiet district near the mineral springs and it has a magnificent view of the town. It offers 95 rooms with modern furniture, bath, WC, Satellite TV and telephone. Balneological facilities for most of the spa treatments are in the building. The Skalník is one of the oldest buildings in Mariánské Lázně. It was established by Adalbert Danzer, spa doctor and historian, in 1829. It is located in the centre of the spa district, close to the main colonnade. The hotel was completely refurbished in 1996. There are 80 beds in single and double rooms and in 5 suites. A room for disabled guests is available. Each room has a shower or bath, WC, TV, radio, telephone and a refrigerator. The hotel offers a dance café and a summer terrace. Meals and spa treatments are provided in the Hvězda spa house, only 20 metres away from the Skalník. Both buildings are interconnected by an underground passage. From 1st August 2007 newly open hotel swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna. Specialises in locomotor system problems, diabetic and oncology diseases.
